College Essay Coaching

I’m a college essay coach and I help students create stand-out essays to get them into college.  Together we identify a superpower and develop a life story that highlights their awesomeness. Students come away feeling confident, proud of their work, and surprised to find writing enjoyable.

Everyone has a story, whether you are the uber-athlete, entrepreneur, musician, artist, writer, engineer, or scientist. No essay is the same. Each student is like a snowflake with their own identifying characteristics to make their essay like none other.

I love my job and I’d love the opportunity to work with your high school senior.

Francie and Tony had it down: A happy family life in a vibrant community with two fine young boys. Then she got “the call.” Tony was in a terrible cycling accident that brought their summer to a screeching halt. For fifteen months Francie protected Tony on his bumpy road to recovery and he protected his family from knowing just how much he hurt. Together they learned to never give up and to accept help whether it be a friend with potato salad or a lawyer who went above and beyond. Love was everywhere, inspiring Tony and Francie to stay positive and look for the community of angels floating into their lives.

At times tearful and funny, their experiences added up to finding love when they least expected it.  Alive and Fixable is a heartwarming story about discovering the ability to survive the things you think you can’t and rising above it all.

Fashion Museums of NYC 2015

With two hours to kill before our flight back home from NYC, my family and I visited the fashion museums of 5th Avenue. Literally hundreds to choose from, we settled on two: Musee d’Bergdorf Goodman and Galerie d’Gucci. And, just like The Met or MOMA, the “docents”...

10 Heartfelt New York City Experiences

Our family vacation of the summer: New York City. The play, “Act of God” with Jim Parsons drove the trip, a funny must-see. Being it was our second trip in the last few a few years, our tourist to-do list was much shorter. We stayed on the Upper West Side, while most...
